PROSPECTIVE PATIENT CONDUCT & PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION

At Statera, we are committed to providing a professional, respectful, and safe environment for our patients, physicians, and staff.

We welcome questions, concerns, and disagreements regarding consultations, fees, scheduling, treatment recommendations, or other aspects of care. However, all communication with our team must remain respectful and appropriate.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

We may decline to establish a relationship with a prospective patient when conduct includes:

  • Abusive, insulting, demeaning, or hostile language
  • Yelling, screaming, or repeated interruptions
  • Profanity directed toward staff or physicians
  • Threatening, intimidating, or harassing behavior
  • Excessive or disruptive contact by phone, email, or text
  • Refusal to follow reasonable office procedures
  • Attempts to pressure, intimidate, or coerce staff into exceptions to practice policies
  • Conduct that interferes with our ability to care for our patients or perform our responsibilities

A MUTUAL RELATIONSHIP

Establishing a physician-patient relationship is a mutual decision. Statera reserves the right to determine whether our practice is an appropriate fit for a prospective patient.

When conduct is inconsistent with our standards for professional communication, we may decline to schedule an appointment or discontinue the scheduling process.

Our decisions regarding prospective patients are based on conduct and practice standards—not personal characteristics or protected status.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

Statera does not provide emergency medical care.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

RESPECT GOES BOTH WAYS.

We are committed to treating every patient with courtesy, professionalism, and respect, and we ask the same in return.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
